Lemberg has helped RKCR/Y&R, a London-based creative agency, with the development of promotional microsite for a global airlines company.
The microsite gave millions of people across the UK a chance to win flights to their top 5 dream destinations all over the world.
To participate in this competition, users needed to drag five of the destination tiles into their list, fill in the form with their personal details, and submit the information.
Based on the user’s choice of destinations, a separate wishlist image was generated by the website. The users were then able to share their wishlists with friends and followers, at the same time promoting the campaign. Within a month of the campaign’s duration, there was a large number of shares and re-shares on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest.
The technologies used were HTML5, Amazon cloud hosting, Akismet spam protection.
When users drop the tiles in the list, the flightboard starts spinning, just like a real one in the airport, to show the name of the destination.
Users generated their own wishlist of dream destinations, and were able to share it with their friends via social media channels.

Website was adapted to majority of mobile devices, relying on the 80-20 rule.
