SleepWave
SleepWave is a light and sound machine emulator, designed to work on Android phones. The project has been commissioned by www.electronichealing.co.uk. The initial idea for the application was to create a sleeping aid that helps the user to fall asleep and wake up by projecting different colours from the phone’s screen into the environment of the room, and fading in and out creating a pulsating effect that is supposed to be synchronised with the breezing, and to gradually slow down, thus inducing sleep. Unfortunately, the devices available now on the market cannot perform a smooth fade, and therefore the idea has shifted and became what it is now – a sound and light machine emulator.
