HealthCalcs - manage your health using iPhone

HealthCalcs is an exciting new iPhone application produced by Lemberg for HealthStatus.com Inc, the leading provider of online health calculators and information.

HealthStatus.com was formed in 1998 to provide a range of online health services using scientifically based algorithms and a flair for helping people manage their health. The HealthCalcs app brings together HealStatus.com's five most popular online calculators:

• Calories Burned allows you to calculate how many calories used with hundreds of activities from Basketball to Brushing your teeth (and even sex!).
• Ideal Weight helps you find your ideal weight from your height and gender.
• Body Mass lets you calculate your Body Mass Index, a popular way of combining your height and weight into a single convenient measure.
• Body Fat calculates the percentage of fat users are carrying and compares it to requirements from various organisations such as the US Navy.
• Blood Alcohol Estimator helps you understand how each drink affects you, taking into account your height and weight and gender

Finally, HealthCalcs includes a new calculator, Lose How Much that aids in setting weight loss goals and shows how much of various activities is needed to achieve it.

The app also connects to the multitude of material on HealthStatus.com to give users a richer experience. By bringing in elements of play through quizzes and tips, HealthCalcs makes watching your health fun as well as wise!

Lemberg worked with long-term partner Alex Komarov Design Inc. to create a sleek and attractive interface for HealthCalcs. Each calculator is connected to the others to help users coordinate their weight loss in a coherent way.
